We are searching for a highly skilled Head of Sales for a client in the industrial valves and fittings industry, based in the North West of England.

Role Overview

As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for leading the sales and account management teams and driving revenue growth. Leveraging your extensive sales experience, you will contribute to the development and implementation of the existing sales strategy, client acquisition plans, and market penetration initiatives.

Responsibilities

● Lead and inspire the sales team, providing guidance and coaching to drive exceptional performance.
● Develop and execute the company's sales strategy and revenue targets to achieve ambitious growth goals.
● Identify new business opportunities and potential clients in the valves industry, creating and nurturing strong relationships.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless customer experiences and exceed their expectations.
● Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive advantages, and potential areas for expansion.
● Monitor and evaluate sales metrics, providing regular reports to senior leadership on performance and areas for improvement.
● Stay up-to-date with industry developments, attending relevant trade shows, conferences, and networking events.

Requirements

● Proven experience as a Head of Sales or similar leadership role in the industrial or engineering industries.
● Deep understanding of B2B sales principles.
● Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth, and expanding market presence.
● Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing sales team.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
● Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities.
