Role Overview
As Sales Director, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our company by leading and managing an existing 22 person sales team. You will be responsible for executing sales strategies and ensuring the team are cultivating profitable relationships with clients. Additionally you must engage in driving some customer acquisition and retention - the position is a hands-on sales role as well as a management one with a focus on enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
● Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
● Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to maximise individual and team performance.
● Build and nurture relationships with key clients, working closely with them to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
● Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
● Utilise data and metrics to track sales performance, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
● Prepare sales forecasts and budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure sales activities adhere to budgetary guidelines.
Requirements
● Proven experience as a Sales Director or similar sales leadership role, preferably in a technology niche.
● Deep understanding of sales strategies and techniques, with a track record of driving revenue growth.
● Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
● Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
● Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to identify opportunities and make informed business decisions.
● Knowledge of the fintech industry and trends, with the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest developments.
