Are you a strategic financial leader with a proven track record? Our client is seeking a talented Group CFO to lead their financial operations and optimise performance within the company.

Location: London
Salary: Up to £350,000 per annum

This company is a medium-sized scale-up offering financial services-focused software solutions. With approximately 350 employees, they have experienced remarkable growth and scaling. They have established a strong reputation in the industry, successfully competing with larger and more established operators. The key responsibility of this role involves closely collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders on investment activities.

Group CFO - The role:

The Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the senior management team, responsible for driving the company's financial strategy and operations. In addition to overseeing financial planning, accounting, and reporting, the Group CFO will play a crucial role in risk management and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Group CFO - Key Responsibilities:

- Fund raising and investment activity. Working with third party external consultants.
- Preparing financial modelling and investment packs
- Board reporting on broader numbers
- Leading on M&A activity
- Oversee and mature the wider financial functions and processes
- Work at a strategic level to drive business growth and deliver costing for future operating models

Group CFO – You:

- Current CFO – business leader
- Strong stakeholder management – experience working in Private Equity space
- Demonstrable experience going through successful series A/B/C funding rounds
- Experience with M&A activity or even IPO
- Financial reporting/modelling expert
- Taken a business from scale up to established corporate with successful exit
- Fintech/SAAS experience preferred
- Strong gravitas / presentation skills
- Advanced Excel / financial systems
- Commercially minded
- Regulatory knowledge related to FCA regulations
