Our client is a leading building services provider, offering specialist HVAC and Mechanical and Electrical turnkey services. They have a reputation for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, and they are looking for a talented Mechanical Estimator to join their team in Liverpool.

Mechanical Estimator – The Role:

As the Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed estimates for mechanical projects across a range of sectors, including commercial, industrial, and residential. You will work closely with the engineering and project management teams to ensure that all estimates are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Mechanical Estimator – Key Responsibilities:

- Produce accurate and detailed mechanical estimates for a range of projects
- Work closely with the engineering and project management teams to ensure that estimates are delivered on time and to a high standard
- Analyse and interpret project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine the scope of work required
-Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to obtain competitive pricing and ensure that estimates are comprehensive and accurate
- Prepare and present estimates to clients, including detailed breakdowns of costs and timelines
- Monitor and report on project costs throughout the lifecycle of each project
- Ensure that all estimates are in compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards

Mechanical Estimator – You:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is desirable
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in a building services environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in using estimating software and Microsoft Office
