Our client was founded over 30 years ago and has grown into a multi-billion pound manufacturing business. The organisation in the UK plays an integral role within the wider international business, and is considered to be the area with critical strategic focus for the next 5 years.

As part of that 5 year Strategic Plan, they are seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer who will be responsible for leading and managing the UK business, in accordance with the objectives outlined in the Plan.

Reporting to the Group CEO, who is based in Europe, this role will involve identifying opportunities for significant additional funding streams through initiatives, mergers/acquisitions, philanthropy and entering new territories. The role as a member of the Group Executive Team and will involve international travel. Flexibility will be required to accommodate international time zones.

The successful candidate will have excellent business and client relationship skills with a proven ability to deliver business growth through the assessment of commercial opportunities. You will be results oriented and comfortable and skilled in influencing stakeholders at a senior level within different cultures. You will have developed strong relationships with government and experience in identifying and implementing business in new markets. Your background is likely to have included international work within employability or associated activities and you will have a full understanding of government policies in Australasia, Europe/UK and the Middle East. It is imperative that everything you do is driven by your integrity and consideration of the customers you work to serve.
