Our client is based in the South West and are committed to ensuring their school delivers the best educational experience for all of their 4-11 year olds, providing a foundation for their future lives. Our client is also heavily involved in the local community and there is an expectation for the successful applicant to engage with a variety of stakeholders across the school and the wider community.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading an educational institution, preferably within the junior school environment. You will thrive on new challenges, and be constantly striving for new ways of doing things, with an ethos of continuous improvement required to be embedded as a core part of the culture. Being a team player will be critical as well as having excellent communication skills with an ability to tailor messages to your specific target audience.

The right calibre individual will have a unrequited passion for delivering quality education to young children, acknowledging that educational programmes may need to be adapted to suit different individual's needs and abilities. You will have demonstrable experience of relationship building across different groups, as this role will require strong relationships across children, parents, teachers, governors, related associations, and the wider community.
