This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to make a difference to young people's lives aged 11-19 years old. Our client is a London Local Authority who are looking for an individual keen to take on a new challenge and in particular, turn a "requiring improvement" school in to an outstanding one in accordance with Ofsted's ratings.

Significant additional funding is being invested in the school, and the local authority are keen to recruit the right calibre individual who can utilise these funds in a cost effective and efficient way whilst ensuring the needs of all it's students are met. A passion for delivering the educational needs for children is a must as is an educational background, preferably having already held a Head Teacher role at a "good" or "outstanding" rated school.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic and professional individual who has a proven track record in leading and motivating teams of people, and delivering amongst challenging circumstances. A breadth of experience within the education sector is essential, and an ability to communicate regularly to all levels of stakeholders will be required.

Developing and delivering a clear vision and strategy for this school will be expected from the role holder and a performance related benefits package will ensure a successful candidate will be well rewarded.
