Our client is based in the Midlands and designs as well as manufactures fire safety and detection materials. With ambitious growth targets, strong competitive products and a market leading reputation, they are looking to appoint an MD who can take advantage of the business strengths to expand into new markets.

In particular, our client has performed well in the past in specific public sectors such as education and healthcare but are now keen to drive into more private sector markets, specifically retail and hospitality. The role will require a dynamic, inspirational leader who is a great people manager, a strong strategic thinker and has great commercial acumen.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience within the manufacturing industry and a proven track record of developing and implementing strategic plans, as well as demonstrating the exceeding of targets and delivering commercial profits. The candidate will be an innovative thinker who can motivate and inspire teams of people and have excellent communication skills that enable them to engage with stakeholders at a wide range of levels.
