National Sales Manager - Banking

This growing financial institution has ambitious expansion plans over the next 3-5 years and is looking to recruit a National Sales Manager to help deliver them. Although the Head Office is based in the North East, there will be a substantial amount of travel across the UK required, managing regional sales teams all over the country.

The successful candidate will be an experienced sales manager with a proven track record in exceeding sales targets on a regular basis. A background of having managed sales people is also essential as is having worked in the financial industry or a similarly highly regulated environment. Having a current role that involves a lot of travel would be beneficial.

Reporting in to the Sales and Marketing Director, this role will require an ability to work autonomously and be comfortable managing teams on a remote basis for most of the time. In addition, delivering to individual and team targets will be critical with frequent reporting on progress and plans of action developed and implemented for any target under-performance.
