This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a number of strategically important projects for a global leader in defence systems. Our client has relationships with public and private defence organisations all over the world and requires a defense analyst willing to travel on a frequent basis to mainly European, US and Middle Eastern destinations to apply their analytic skills and deliver solutions to their clients in a fast and effective way.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree and a proven track record in analysing problems and issues, coupled with successfully delivering solutions, along with an ability to work across a number of different work streams on a remote basis. A background in the defence industry is essential and currently holding a role that requires substantial travel to the US and Middle East would be advantageous.

The right calibre candidate will have strong communication and presentation skills with an ability to deliver tailored messages to different audiences in a succinct and understandable way - often required via telecommunications (video conferencing or Skype) rather than face to face. Strong influencing skills and people management will be key, couple with an ability to overseeing and manage implementations, often on a remote basis.

Given the nature of the industry and the clients worked with, the candidate must also be prepared to undergo detailed security vetting which may vary by country. A very competitive benefits package is offered for the successful candidate.
