Head of Faculty - Sciences

Our client is a privately funded educational institution, passionate about delivering the right platform for 11-19 year old's to succeed in their future careers. They are looking to recruit a Head of Faculty for their Sciences Department, where it is currently achieving excellent results, being one of the top performing private schools in the country.

The successful candidate will need to be an experienced science teacher, with a proven track record of delivering excellent results for their pupils. Ideally they should already hold a Head of Sciences position but demonstrable leadership abilities are the essential requirement. Having a passion for delivering to children's needs is imperative as well as an ability to continually seek new ways of improving learning for all abilities. Never being complacent in light of good performance is also a pre-requisite to ensure the school continues to go from strength to strength.

You will have a team of 7 people reporting in to you including admin staff, and an ability to motivate and work as part of a team is also critical. You will have excellent communication skills, and a strong ethos of community. You will be part of the Senior Leadership Team so will be expected to challenge and engage across your peers and seniors, including the board of governors.
