We utilised the services of Elliot Marsh to undertake an executive search for a Sales Director Designate. We recognised the need to strenghten the management and directional skillls within our sales team. We needed a right hand person (number 2) for our Sales Director with particularly strong leadership and team building skills.
Elliot Marsh were one of three companies we spoke to regarding our assignment. During our initial meeting with Elliot Marsh we were impressed by the work they had already undertaken prior to being assigned. They came armed with a Project Folder succinctly outlining the requirements we had expressed verbally. They had also gleaned a good understanding of our company structure, background and ethos from research undertaken.
Once assigned the remit they quickly provided details of candidates they felt matched our criteria plus other candidates to headhunt. Once agreed they outlined a timetable for the project to enable us to diarise and set aside sufficient time for interviewing and to keep the project on track. Elliot Marsh carried out personality profile assessments on suitable candidates and narrowed the selection down to three who most closley matched our role and skills requirements.
We were impressed by both the quality of candidates put forward for interviewing and their understanding, via Elliot Marsh of our role, requirements, culture and ethos. Once selected Elliot Marsh also assisted in negotiating the final package.
The candidate we employed demonstrated all the qualitities and skills we were looking for and has recently been promoted to Sales Director.
