Our client is a medium sized firm (40 employees) based in the South East who have ambitious growth targets with PR a key aspect of their strategy. However, with no PR expertise amongst the existing staff, they are looking for a PR consultant on a short term basis (3-6 months) to help develop a strategic PR plan that will help deliver their growth ambitions.

Having a strong background in the communication and PR industries, the right calibre candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the client and have a demonstrable track record in delivering growth for previous employers via solid PR strategies. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role will also be responsible for identifying the key performance indicators that will help measure commercial success. Evidence of delivering PR plans to budget will be required and the successful candidate will have an ability to deal well with challenges and working under pressure.

There is a longer term plan to develop a PR team as part of the business and this role may be expected to advise on how to structure such a team in addition to having the scope of leading it if desired.
