Our client is a nationally recognised brand within the mobile sector and is looking for a Communications Director to head up their Public Relations team. The post has arisen due to the impending retirement of the incumbent and a lack of internal candidate suitability.

As well as having a strong background in public relations and dealing with the variety of media outlets that exist in the modern environment, one of the major challenges for the appointed candidate will be to develop a strong team beneath them. With a diverse product range, there is a variety of issues that arise on an ongoing basis and the team is not currently structured well enough to deal with them.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator from Board level to PR trainee executive, and will have an excellent track record in managing and developing teams in the past. A key part of the role will be to develop and implement a proactive communications plan based on the strategic business plan on an annual basis.

Based out of the London head office, the ideal candidate will be a dynamic, self-motivated individual who loves a challenge and deals extremely well with deadlines and pressure.
