This leading UK banking institution are recruiting for a Senior Compliance Manager to manage, develop and implement all of their Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) compliance monitoring and control strategy.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the successful candidate is required to ensure the organisation complies with all the necessary reporting and monitoring requirements to satisfy all current and future FCA regulatory and legal requirements. Acknowledging the critical role compliance plays in the future success of the business, the board are committed to prioritising investment in those areas where compliance can be improved. The successful candidate will be required to analyse existing processes and procedures across all areas of the business and provide recommendations and solutions for improvements.

The ideal candidate will have an ability to communicate effectively and confidently to various levels of stakeholders, and influencing key personnel across various departments within the business. As a manager of a growing team, the candidate will also be required to be strong leaders and motivators, driving “best practice” on all current regulatory processes and to present clear guidance to the board on any future regulatory changes. Having excellent attention to detail will be a necessity, particularly as part of the financial promotion sign off circuit.

The right calibre individual will be an experienced compliance officer currently, and have a proven track record in applying a compliance framework within a commercial organisation, and be CISI, CFA or CII qualified. Additional or supplementary training can be provided if relevant.
