Our client is one of the leading financial institutions in the world, and are looking to recruit a Customer Services Director for their business arm. As an industry with a generally poor reputation for customer service, our client is passionate about ensuring they are seen as market leading from a customer service perspective. They are committed to investing heavily into this area, providing a great opportunity for the right individual to make this role a real success.

The successful candidate will have a background in customer services and have held senior positions in this discipline within a financial institution - preferably within a FTSE 100 company. Developing and delivering a customer services strategy will be a core requirement, and a proven track record in managing multi-channel customer services teams is a must, along with demonstrable evidence of delivering efficiency within the customer service environment.

The right calibre candidate will be a proven leader and motivator, and have overseen the management of 100+ staff in previous roles. Having a total commitment to the end customer is essential but also having sound commercial awareness, ensuring investment is wisely utilised and wastage is eliminated wherever it appears.
