Our client is a leading membership organisation who require an Account Director as they seek to expand and grow their membership base. Although the organisation is an independent not-for-profit professional membership body, it is extremely commercially minded in how it operates.

The role has 2 direct reports and requires the management of significantly sized member organisations with clear engagement strategies to ensure members are fully aware of the value of their membership, as well as the benefits of continuing to retain their membership. Development and implementation of a national account strategy will be expected along with management of a specified portfolio of members. In addition, there will be a requirement to deliver new membership growth through strong relationship building skills.

The successful candidate will have a background of liaising with clients and stakeholders at a senior level with a proven track record of delivering portfolio growth across a combination of exceeding new business targets whilst retaining existing customers. Being able to evidence strong leadership skills and commercial acumen is a must with the capability and desire to meet new challenges in an innovative, motivating and inspiring way.
